Take your content from the couch to the podium

In my house, we LOVE the Olympics. Winter or Summer, there's something about watching talented people work their behinds off from the comfort of our couch that really works for our family.

My nine-year-old, Henry, consistently marvels: Wow! They're really good!

I, as an innately cheeky person, have to resist the urge to respond with ‘no shit, Sherlock’ (because obviously I don't swear in front of my kids).

Then we always have a big discussion about how skilled the athletes are. How hard they've worked. How much they've planned and trained and sacrificed to represent their country at the Olympics.

The reason why I natter on about this so much with my kids is this: it's easy for kids to see Olympic athletes at the top of their game and think I want that. It's harder for them to understand the level of commitment that it takes to get there.

And the same thing is true for spreading the word about your business.

If you're looking at business owners who are killing it in the blogging, video, social media, email marketing, or website stakes, you might be thinking I want that, too.

But here's the thing: clever content marketing, clear communication, and websites that convert don't happen by accident. That business owner whose content you're coveting will have traded either time or money for those impressive assets.

If you're struggling to find the words to communicate the incredible benefits of your business to your ideal clients, ask yourself this: what if I stopped winging it?

What if I invested some real time and money into on-brand, benefit-led content that I can re-purpose all over the shop?

If you're keen to give content marketing a red-hot-go, I'm here to help. Book a call if you'd like to chat with yours truly about how to (and I acknowledge this is a stretch) get your content off of the couch and onto the podium.
